The film features original songs written and performed by local artists in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Some of the songs are the first of their kind. The songs were recorded and produced by Jeff Gruber and Blue House Productions in Silver Spring. Several of the songs were written by Jeff and his wife, Sharon Freedman Gruber. The creation of an original score was funded, in part, by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
